Monthly Eucharistic-Themed PreK – HS Projects

Project host:

Holy Trinity Homeschoolers

Project description:

Welcome to Holy Trinity Catholic Church’s (Gainesville, VA) Eucharistic Project in support of the Cardinal Newman Society’s Eucharistic Task Force, that was established in support of the USCCB’s national three-year Eucharistic Revival!

This project is sponsored by Holy Trinity Homeschoolers and is open to all children in the parish from PreK through high school.

Directions: All personal projects must include the topic of the month and how it relates to the Holy Eucharist. Younger children will require their parent’s direct assistance in both choosing and completing their monthly contributions. Creativity is encouraged and the range of possibilities is wide-ranging from a simple coloring sheet and quick lesson with mom/dad to drawing, painting, poetry, photography, research and writing, a local pilgrimage, and more.

Projects/Pieces will be due on the last day of each month. They can be left in the parish office OR Faith Formation office. We will have a project showcase with pizza and cake in early June to enjoy viewing all the submissions together. We will also do a community project together in celebration of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi in June.

Developing a stronger love and knowledge about the Eucharist within our children is the goal of this project. Fellowship with our parish family is also a positive benefit!
